If You Go Down To The Woods Today

The last few months have seen extensive works near Dixons Hollow in Dalby Forest with the creation of a new improved activity centre.
I have been working for what was Ability Outdoors as an activity instructor for a few years now, mainly working with groups of young people from schools and youth groups.  Because of the centre's location, far from the main tourist centres of Dalby, advanced booking was needed to visit the site and many tourists will have been totally unaware of the centres existence.  This limiting factor on the growth of the business is now being remedied by the building of a completely new and updated facility.

An amazing amount of work has gone into clearing areas of the forest for new paintball, low ropes course, archery range and high ropes activities.  As of today the building/reception is very near completion and will look great after a spot of landscaping.  The paintball games are looking good, the netting was being done today and many of the barricades are in position.  The first group to try it out is here on Sunday and I'm sure it will go down well.

Next week many of the other activities will be completed.  I'll keep you updated.
